This constant UK Hardcore sound led LittleJohn to buy a set of decks and some vinyl in 1995. He kept collecting and practicing through 1995 and 1996 and eventually got a gig at Return Of The Living Dead where it attracted 400 party goers.
About two months after that first gig, LittleJohn had his place broken into and two creates of vinyl, turntables, mixer and amp were all stolen. Disillusioned with the whole scene LittleJohn lost his enthusiasm for collecting vinyl and attending and playing at Dance Parties.
It wasn’t until the 2001, that LittleJohn ventured into a record store to listen to some vinyl again. Buoyant by the fresh sounds that were coming out of the UK he decided to buy some turntables and give the whole DJ thing another go.
After playing at many house parties between 2001 and 2005, LittleJohn then got his second gig at Hook Me Up and New Years Day 2006.
By Late 2006, LittleJohn was not finding that UK Hardcore was progressing as he wanted it to be, so he was influenced by his friend at the time that was playing Electro House and so he started buying Electro House vinyl and oldskool UK Hardcore, his real passion.
Again playing at many house parties between 2006 and 2009, LittleJohn then got his third gig playing at Seizmic Freakquences. After that gig, LittleJohn was invited to become a New Holland DJ. More gigs then came in 2009 playing at Technofix, Avalanche, Megatron Recharge and Ways Of The Underground.
2009 was a big year for LittleJohn as he was given his own radio show on dancetransmission.com.
When LittleJohn has played to a crowd they have all been UK Hardcore sets, however, LittleJohn will play his first Electro House set at a fundraiser night at The Kings Cross Hotel this coming February 2010. The Future looks bright for LittleJohn and eventually he will start producing his own tracks, but, until he does he is a very professional DJ with many years experience.
